Here’s a mock-up of the quilt I’m making. I’ve chosen an Cloud9 organic cotton in Ash for the background to give it an extra vintage feel.
The quilt will finish at 50″ x 70″. Here’s what you’ll need to make the quilt:
Materials
- Fat Quarter bundle of Honey Garden (or Half Yard if you’d like extra fabric- trust me, you’ll want more of this gorgeous fabric!) Or 1/4 yard each of 9 print fabrics (approx. 2 yards total). Use your 2 1/2″ scraps!
- 2 1/8 yard background fabric – i’m using Cirrus Solids in Ash
- 7/8 yard print or contrasting solid for the “chain”
- 4 1/2 yards backing fabric
- 1/2 yard binding fabric
Here’s a closer look at one of the blocks—I’m absolutely in love with how it’s turning out!
And now, let me share a few more pictures of this gorgeous fabric collection from Cloud9 designer Juliana Tipton.
Seriously, I adore every print, and I’m sure you will too! So, grab a bundle and join me in making a beautiful quilt together!
